cze Nové kontexty cizojazyčné výuky na univerzitě: microlearning a sociální sítě Článek se zabývá tématem podpory procesů učení se cizího jazyka prostřednictvím mobilních zařízení. Koncepčním rámcem je fenomén tzv. "microlearningu", který představuje jeden z globálních vzdělávacích trendů, vysledovatelný zejména v oblasti podnikového vzdělávání. Na základě uplatnění této teoretické perspektivy autor prezentuje výsledky svého vlastního akčního výzkumu, realizovaného v oblasti výuky v kurzech anglického jazyka v univerzitním kontextu. Analýza je zaměřena na využití sociální sítě Instagram jako specifického "microlearningového" prostředku, stimulujícího jazykovou "mikroprodukci" u studentů. Empirická zjištění obsahují studentské příspěvky na Instagramu, tzv. "mikroblogy" vztažené k vizuálnímu materiálu ve formě fotografií, a vedle toho jsou i zahrnuty studentské subjektivní percepce učebního potenciálu sociální sítě Instagram, shromážděné prostřednictvím strukturovaného dotazníku.
eng New Contexts of Foreign Language Learning at the University: Microlearning and Social Networks The paper deals with the topic of supporting the processes of foreign language learning by means of mobile devices. The conceptual framework is provided by the phenomenon of “microlearning”, which represents one of the current global educational trends, observable especially in the area of corporate learning. With regard to this particular theoretical perspective, the author presents the outcomes of the two-year action research carried out within the area of English language courses taught in the university context. The analysis is focused on the use of the social network Instagram as the specific “microlearning” tool stimulating the processes of the students’ language “microproduction”. The empirical evidence comprises the students’ Instagram posts, i.e. the “microblogs” related to their particular photographs, and it also includes the learners’ subjective perceptions of the learning potential of the social network Instagram, collected by means of a structured questionnaire.
