eng How to deal with Business English to the benefit of pre-service and in-service users The authors raise questions touching the following areas: pre-service students´ needs and wishes in terms of their current studies and future careers; in-service practitioners´ priorities; job market requirements. The discussed issues will be supported with research outcomes on both the target audiences and will provide useful hints for reflections in syllabi concepts based on detailed profiles of managers at various levels of company structures.
